Shows
Each year the PSTB hosts Possibilities in Pastel . It is a juried and judged show with cash awards and prizes. Awards of Distinction, Excellence, Merit and Honorable Mention are presented with the Pastel Society of America sponsoring one of the merit awards. It is held at different venues in the Tampa Bay Area. This show is named in honor of Brooke Allison, who inspired the formation of our society. For many years, she has taught a class named Possibilities in Pastel at the Dunedin Fine Art Center. Members and non-members are welcome to enter this show (non-members will pay a higher fee to submit work. To view award winners from past shows, visit Gallery in this web site. Workshops Starting in 2009, in conjunction with our annual show, the PSTB has hosted three-day workshops for members. An attempt is made to keep our prices reasonable while securing nationally known artists as instructors.
